Paul Koeman, a graduate of Hamilton High School and Ferris State University with a degree in pre-engineering, farms in Allegan County. After graduating from Ferris in 1967, Koeman farmed part time until 1972 when he began farming full-time. He grows corn, wheat, and soybeans on his 3,400 acres and raises 4,000 contract hogs.
A member of the Allegan County Farm Bureau, Koeman has served as a board member, county president for two years, and as a member of the Executive Committee for one year. He is also a director of the Hamilton Farm Bureau Co-op.
