Farm Bureau Services, Inc. Stock and Securities
TO: HOLDERS OF STOCK AND OTHER SECURITIES OF THE DEFUNCT FARM BUREAU SERVICES, INC.
On November 23, 1983, Farm Bureau Services, Inc. ceased to exist as an entity when the Federal Bankruptcy Court approved a plan whereby Agra Land, Inc. became its successor.
That plan called for all valid stock and other securities issued by Farm Bureau Services, Inc. to be replaced by stock and other securities issued by Agra Land, Inc.
Therefore, any and all existing stock certificates, debenture certificates, allocated patronage certificates, or other securities bearing the name Farm Bureau Services, Inc. are of no value; they are worthless.
The new replacement Agra Land, Inc. stock and other securities were delivered by U.S. mail to all holders of valid Farm Bureau Services, Inc. stock and other securities within ninety days after November 23, 1983. The mailing included thorough explanations of the transactions, as well as instructions to destroy all Farm Bureau Services, Inc. stock and other securities, since they were now invalid, null, and void. Unfortunately, many of these old Farm Bureau Services, Inc. certificates continue to surface, and the finder wishes to know what value, if any, they may have. This written statement will answer that question.
On September 30, 1985, after two years of unsuccessful operations, Agra Land, Inc. was forced to dispose of its assets, terminate all employees, and cease doing business. Therefore, Agra Land, Inc. is also defunct, and the corporation has been dissolved. So, just as the Farm Bureau Services, Inc. stock, outstanding stock issued by Agra Land, Inc. has no value; it is worthless.
