The Michigan Farm Bureau Promotion and Education Committee and 150 Farm Bureau members from across the state recently put "their money where their mouth is" to demonstrate just how much Farmers CARE about their communities and providing people with safe, nutritious and abundant food.
As part of the Promotion and Education Committee's Project TEAM conference in Bay City, members participated in a live auction where they bid on items with non-perishable food or cash donations. The activity raised $1,727 and 200 pounds of food, all of which was donated to the Good Samaritan Rescue Mission in Bay City.
