The Michigan Farm Bureau is emphasizing the following realities to its members as part of AgriPac activities and the organization's Common Sense Solutions to Fix Michigan initiative.
- The 2010 election will produce a 72 percent turnover rate in the Michigan Legislature.
For the 2010 election there are: - 29 open state Senate seats
- 52 open state House seats
- 3 open U.S. Congressional seats
- 79 incumbents seeking re-election
For the first time in Michigan's history, the state will have entirely new executive leadership including a new: - Governor
- Lieutenant Governor
- Attorney General
- Secretary of State
- Speaker of the House
- Senate Majority Leader
