Harry Herbruck has lots of hope for the future. The future of Herbruck's Poultry Ranch in Saranac, Michigan a laying hen farm, a continuation of the egg farm his grandfather started in the 1920s, has now grown their flock to more than 5 million laying hens and the fourth generation of the Herbruck family. Today, Harry works with his three brothers to manage and care for the farm's hens, eggs and egg distribution. As a third generation farmer, hope lies in the next generation as several younger members of the Herbruck family have begun to work at their farm.
