"Share How You Care" Video Contest

Michigan Farm Bureau and the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) team up to encourage Michigan's farmers to "Share How You Care." This state-wide video contest will give farmers the opportunity to showcase their commitment to protecting the environment, growing safe food, their compassion for animals and dedication to Michigan's future. It will also provide farmers with the chance to highlight how they work with NRCS to be good stewards of the land and environment.

We encourage the public to:

Make sure your video submission follows these rules:

  1. Videos will be judged on:
    • Presentation of at least ONE of the following four themes relating to Michigan agriculture:
      • Protecting the Environment
      • Committed to Growing Safe Food
      • Compassion for Animals
      • Dedicated to Michigan's Future
    • Provides creative content/message about how farmers work with NRCS to be good stewards of the land and environment.
      *Videos must contain at least one of the four themes and must demonstrate how farmers work with NRCS to be good stewards of the land and environment in order to be eligible.
    • The number of views and likes on Contest YouTube Channel will be weighted into the judges' scores.
    • Informative and accurate content.
  2. Contestants must name their videos and are encouraged to be creative.
  3. No music is allowed.
  4. Video audience is the public.
  5. There is no limit to the number of videos that a contestant enters into the contest. Only one prize per contestant will be awarded.
