Since beginning his career at Perry Brian has assisted the FFA Chapter with the Annual Toy Show and has seen the attendance increase to over 600 guests visiting over 40 vendors.
Recently the Advanced agri-science students with guidance from Mr. Kiesling, have been mentoring 2nd grade students. After researching the science requirements for 2nd graders established by the Michigan Department of Education, the Advanced agri-science students visit the 2nd grade classrooms and use agricultural lessons to help reinforce the benchmarks required by the state. Not only is this a great opportunity for the 2nd graders it is a gratifying and educational experience for the Ag science mentors as well.
Please join me in Congratulating Brian Kiesling the 2011 Shiawassee County Farm Bureau Agricultural Educator of the year.
