Each year the Montcalm County Farm Bureau awards scholarship(s) to member pursuing a degree in any field of study, with a preference given to agriculture related fields.

Individuals are chosen by our Board of Directors on merit based on their scholastic achievements and extracurricular involvement during their school career. Including student's grades and need.

Eligibility includes:

  1. You must be a active Montcalm County member or his/her parents/legal guardian.
  2. Must be a senior or graduate accepted by or attending a post-secondary institution.
  3. Applicants may re-apply for this scholarship each year.
  4. High school student attending college must have at least a 3.0 GPA or better.
  5. Money will be awarded after the student has completed his or her first semester of college and has maintained a grade point average of 2.5 or better.

Bree Muilenburg is majoring in Science and preparing to be a Veterinarian. She is the daughter of Jon and Elaine Muilenburg of Stanton.

 

Elin Thorlund

Elin Thorlund will be attending Michigan State University, studying International Relations and Public Policy. She is the daughter of Einer and Denise Thorlund of Greenville.

 

Tessa Wiles

Tessa Wiles will be studying Public Relations. She is the daughter of Dick and Carol Wiles of Carson City.

 

Elizabeth Fredrickson

Elizabeth Fredrickson will be attending Lake Superior State University, studying Homeland Security. She is the daughter of Eric & Patricia Fredrickson of Stanton.

 

Emily Fredrickson

Emily Fredrickson will be studying Art. She is the daughter of Eric & Patricia Fredrickson of Stanton.
