OAKLAND COUNTY FARM BUREAU SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION


The Oakland County Farm Bureau offers a $500 college scholarship to two Oakland County 4-H youth planning to pursue an agricultural-related career.
Requirements for the scholarship include enrollment in a major agricultural-related program of study and the applicant must have carried out, taught and demonstrated agriculture activities as part of his/her 4-H project experiences. Applicant must be a high school senior or in college.


Applicants will be evaluated on the basis of degree of involvement and expressed interest.

                 MARGE KARKER FARM BUREAU SCHOLARSHIP

The Marge Karker Farm Bureau Scholarship is designed for students enrolled at Michigan State University in a two, four, or post-graduate program pursuing a degree in agriculture.  The recipients will each receive a $1,000 award which will be applied to their 2012/2013 tuition.

The scholarship recipient must be from a Farm Bureau family, or  if married or 21 years of age or older, have his/her own Farm Bureau membership.
