Communication -  The communication committee has the responsibility to provide information about agriculture and Farm Bureau to members and the general public. This can be done through county newsletters and working with the local media to ensure agriculture and Farm Bureau are represented fairly and accurately.

Policy Development - The purpose of the policy development committee is to develop Farm Bureau policy recommendations on local, state, and national issues by encouraging the study and discussion of issues by all Farm Bureau members.

Promotion & Education - The goal of the P&E program is to educate Michigan consumers about agriculture through working with children and schools and coordinating public outreach programs to promote and educate about agriculture. In addition, the P&E program strives to educate farmers on issues impacting agriculture.

Public Policy - The public policy committee supports and executes Farm Bureau policies, as established and adopted by Farm Bureau members, and to maintain regular contact with state and federal legislators and their staff.

Young Farmer -The Young Farmer program is designed to develop leadership potential for men and women between the ages of 18 and 35. The Young Farmer program, chaired by Mike Butler, also provides farmers with discussion meets and social activities such as golf events and regional camp weekends.
