St. Clair County Farm Bureau Scholarship
The St. Clair County Farm Bureau is pleased to offer two $500.00 scholarships to students enrolled in an agricultural program, who can meet the following requirements:
The student to receive the scholarship (male or female) must be from a St. Clair County Farm Bureau family, or if married or 21 years of age or older, have his/her own Farm Bureau membership and should be a member in good standing.
The student should, upon request, be prepared to show financial need.
The scholarship is to be given to a two or four year or post-graduate student currently enrolled or entering in an agricultural program.
Applicants may use the scholarship for attending a college of their choice, including community colleges and trade schools in Michigan. Application deadline is June 1, 2011.
The scholarship check will be sent directly to the recipient upon verification of first semester GPA of 2.5 or above and verification of paid tuition for the second semester.
The applicant should have a scholastic average of 2.5 or above, on a 4.0 scale. Please attach an official transcript.
Finalists will be interviewed by the St. Clair County Farm Bureau Scholarship Committee.
The scholarship will be a gift, not a loan.
Two letters of recommendation are required to be submitted.
