No Cost Pesticide Credits Available

With harvest complete and the wind chill dipping down it is a good time to catch up on renewing Pesticide Applicator Licensing. Lenawee, Monroe and Washtenaw Farmers needing Restricted Use Pesticide Credits can obtain up to 9 credits free of charge by completing A*Syst booklets with the assistance of Groundwater Technician Amy Gilhouse. The A*Syst booklets help a farmer to identify possible risks to groundwater posed through the use of pesticide, fertilizer and manure storage and applications. Assistance in completing the booklets is confidential and non-regulatory.
