Eaton County Farm Bureau members will set their 2009 policy agenda during the organization's annual meeting, Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at the Eaton Area Senior Center located at 804 S. Cochran Ave, Charlotte. Local farmers will discuss, debate and approve policies regarding issues affecting Eaton County agriculture and natural resources. Click for more information

Eaton Co. Farm Bureau Participates in Frontier Days
Eaton County Farm Bureau leaders and volunteers joined forces at the Frontier Days Parade Sept. 6, to increase public awareness of the local agriculture organization. Together, they distributed educational literature and member benefit information, along as well as some fun toys and candy along the parade route. Click for more information

Local Farm Bureau Endorses "Friends of Agriculture"
Eaton County Farm Bureau held their bi-annual Candidate Evaluation Friends of Agriculture Interviews on Thursday, June 5, 2008. Committee members interviewed County Commissioner Candidates, Drain Commissioner Candidates, Sheriff Candidates and State Representative Candidates interested in securing the endorsement as a Friend of Agriculture in Eaton County. It's Time To Take Action!
It is time to take action! Call Senator Stabenow now and urge her to pass the farm bill. The 2008 Farm Bill was a major issue this year, and as we heard from Secretary Schafer, the 2002 Farm Bill was extended until April 18th so that Congress could finish the 2008 Farm Bill.
