July 17th Lugnuts Game - A 13 Inning Marathon
More than forty Farm Bureau members traveled to Lansing on July 17th, to watch the Lansing Lugnuts play baseball. Several things made the night memorable; a rain delay, the Lugnuts' longest game of the season, and football type weather. Click for more information

Farmers Care Action Team
Rallying to assure the general public of agriculture's concern for the environment, the community and the livestock animals it raises, members of Hillsdale County Farm Bureau have responded to a challenge from Michigan Farm Bureau President Wayne H. Wood to form a Farmers Care Action Team (FCAT). The team consists of Chairman Mark Wiley, Kevin Bever, Ned Bever, veterinarian Dr. Justin Kieffer, Jennifer Lewis, Bart Marshall, and Tom Schroeder. 2009 Legislative "Breakfast on the Farm"
June 15th saw lots of people heading to "Breakfast on the Farm" held at the home of Bruce and Jennifer Lewis. It was a beautiful morning and hungry appetites were more than satisfied with a huge breakfast. Generous donations toward the breakfast were received from Bob Evans, Market House and Kuster's. 2009 Annual Meeting Report
The 2009 annual meeting of Hillsdale County Farm Bureau was held August 13, 2009 at the Hillsdale Assembly of God Church. The social hour began at 6:30 p.m. and was followed by a buffet dinner. The Hillsiders Community Action Group hosted the family event, which included supervised kid's activities. Click for more information
