Tate Forbush Agriscience Educator Award Winner
Tate Forbush of Byron was chosen as the Shiawassee County Farm Bureau's Agriscience Educator of the Year on September 15, 2009. The Agriscience Educator of the Year Award recognizes agriscience educators' efforts to teach agriculture and natural resources concepts and prepare youth for careers. Click for more information

Dick & Maureen Gilna Distinguished Service to Ag. Award winners
Each year the Shiawassee County Farm Bureau selects a member for the Distinguished Service to Agriculture Award, who has distinguished themselves as a servant to the Agricultural Industry and the Community as a whole. Dick and Maureen Gilna have been extremely successful in their farm operation and served the Agricultural Industry, Farm Bureau and several community organizations in many varied and unique ways.
