Community Action Groups
This group of friends and neighbors meets monthly to discuss key issues affecting agriculture. Whether the issue is zoning, community planning, school finance, or even a neighborhood beautification project, a Community Action Group is the perfect tool to find solutions, gain knowledge, share ideas, and take action.
Lenawee County has five active Community Action Groups. Our chairman for the CAG groups is Dale Storrer. Dale has some exciting projects for the CAG groups. Our current project is collecting can goods for our local food banks and kitchens. There is a drop off container at the County office. To find out more on how you can help with this project contact the county office at 265-5255 or Dale Storrer at 517-286-6868.

Mr. & Mrs. Matt Carpenter will represent Lenawee county in Washington for 2010. They will be able to talk with our State Representatives and Congressmen about issues they are concerened about in the farming industry. We appreciate our members taking the time to represent our county in Washington.
