Dinner on the Farm

This yearly event provides Farm Bureau members of St. Clair, Huron, Lapeer, Macomb and Sanilac counties the opportunity to make their concerns known to Congresswoman Candice Miller, while enjoying dinner on a local farm.

Promotion & Education

Promotion & Education

The goal of the Promotion and Education program is to educate Michigan consumers about agriculture through working with children and schools and coordinating public outreach programs to promote and educate about agriculture. In addition, the Promotion and Education program strives to educate farmers on issues impacting agriculture.

St. Clair County Farm Bureau welcomed Stacey Lauwers as the Promotion & Education chair. If you have an interest in promoting agriculture and Farm Bureau, enjoy working with a variety of people, have the ability to communicate, and willing to assist in the organization of people and events, we would love to hear from you to help this committee.

Young Farmer

Young Farmer

The Young Farmer program is designed to develop leadership potential for men and women between the ages of 18 and 35.

The Young Farmer program, chaired by Mike Butler, also provides farmers with discussion meets and social activities such as golf events and regional camp weekends.

Young People's Citizenship Seminar

Young People's Citizenship Seminar

Over two hundred twenty of the top students from Michigan convene each year in late June to learn about world economic and political systems and conduct their own mock election. Sponsored by county Farm Bureaus across the state, the Citizenship Seminar has been conducted for over 35 years and has provided leadership skills for over 5,000 of Michigan's youth.

We'd like to thank Diane Rzeppa and staff for volunteering to be the YPCS coordinator again this year.
