The following rules have been established by the 2007 State Young Farmer Committee. There are no exceptions to the rules!
  1. 36 team total (each district guaranteed at least one entry). Teams will consist of four golfers.
  2. Individual golfers will be assigned a team if there isn't enough to fill a county team. A player may only be listed on one county roster.
  3. All golfers will start with a shotgun start (each team will start at a different hole)
  4. We will follow the rules for a golf scramble (players will each hit a ball, but then the team can each hit from the location of the player's ball with the best lie on their team)
  5. Shirts with sleeves must be worn at all times. Soft spikes only. No metal spikes allowed.
  6. State law requires all beverages to be purchased at Centennial Acres. NO PRIVATE COOLERS OF ANY KIND.
  7. All players must meet Michigan Farm Bureau Young Farmer guidelines. For safety reasons, members under 18 years of age are not allowed to participate.
  8. Teams can be either county or multi-county.
  9. Final and complete rosters must be submitted with payment by July 27, 2007.
No refunds will be made to the county after July 31.
  10. Teams and players must sign a waiver releasing Michigan Farm Bureau of any liability.
  11. In order to participate, counties must have had one young farmer representative participate in a minimum of one other statewide young farmer activity (i.e. - Young Farmer Leaders' Conference, District Discussion Meet, Young Farmer Contests, ProFILE).
  12. Michigan Farm Bureau and Farm Bureau Insurance employees are eligible to play.
  13. All players must be a member in good standing by July 31, 2007, to participate in the scramble.
