Michigan Farm Bureau is the parent organization of Farm Bureau Insurance, Michigan's Insurance Company. Michigan Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Association , Inc. (MACMA) is Michigan Farm Bureau’s commodity marketing affiliate. Founded in 1961, MACMA was initially established to provide marketing and bargaining services for its members to improve their farm’s profitability by obtaining full market value and improved returns for commodities. This is a service MACMA is still providing today to nearly 800 members. Since the inception of MACMA, the association has evolved into a multifaceted organization that acts on our members behalf in representation of legal, labor and legislative issues. The association also aids grower members, along with Michigan Farm Bureau, by acting as a collective voice in problem solving issues affecting members with federal and state agencies including USDA, EPA, Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development (MDARD), and others.

Michigan Foundation for Agriculture is a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation founded and governed by the Michigan Farm Bureau board of directors. The foundation provides funding to support Michigan Farm Bureau's educational and charitable activities, particularly in the areas of agricultural education for children and adults and leadership programs and scholarship opportunities for future agriculture leaders.
