The Young Farmer Agriculture Employee Award is designed to recognize successful young agriculturalists, employed by a farm or agribusiness, for outstanding leadership in farming and contributions to the long-term profitability of the operation on which he/she works.
Hard work, intelligent planning and the development of leadership skills lead to success in the entire agriculture industry. Success needs to be recognized. Recognizing successful young farmers not only pays tribute to the individual, it also draws attention to agriculture. It emphasizes the need for highly efficient farm leaders as agriculture continues to satisfy the basic needs of all people.
