GRAND RAPIDS -- More than 400 voting delegates concluded policy deliberations today, in the closing session of the Michigan Farm Bureau’s 100th annual meeting, establishing policy direction for priority state and national agricultural issues.
GRAND RAPIDS — The Michigan Farm Bureau Board of Directors has a new look as the implementation of a member-devised redistricting plan added a new numbered district and shed one of three at-large positions. New to the organization’s state-level leadership roster are farmers from Arenac and St. Joseph counties.

Like many Michigan farmers, American Farm Bureau Federation President Zippy Duvall is going through some tough times right now. But, like the messaging in the multiple Bible verses he recited Dec. 3, farmers will get through this.
Four exemplary young farmers were honored for their achievements Dec. 3 at MFB’s 2019 Annual Meeting. First named during National Agriculture Week in March, this year’s recipients of MFB’s Young Farmer Awards were recognized one last time for their outstanding accomplishments in four award categories.
