This year, 15 bloggers took a tour through Michigan to get an even deeper dive into pig farming through the Real Pig Farming’s “2018 Pass the Pork 2.0” tour. This was a second trip to a pig farm for all of the bloggers and included a stop at Spartanwood LLC, the family owned and operated swine operation of Ken and Dale Norton, located near Bronson, in Branch County.

This tour allowed the bloggers to learn even more about hot topics including gene-editing, environmental sustainability, and new and different ways to incorporate pork into their recipes. If there’s ever a doubt about the agricultural PR value of conducting farm tours, you’ll be a believer after watching this video.
