Vote early, farm-friendly this general election

by Michigan Farm Bureau

Harvest delays causing idle time? Vote early via absentee ballot so when the crops are ready you can be in the tractor cab and not waiting in line at the polls on Nov. 6.

Follow three easy steps to ensure your vote is counted:

  1. Complete the absentee ballot application.
  2. Submit it to your local clerk (the sooner the better to allow mailing time for your ballot.)
  3. Review the 2018 AgriPac endorsements to support farm-friendly candidates running in your area and look at Farm Bureau’s position on the three statewide ballot proposals.

"From the statewide races and on down the ballot, this election is vital to the future of the state’s farming industry," said Matt Kapp, Michigan Farm Bureau’s elections expert. "We want to see Farm Bureau members out voting, and that’s why we're encouraging appropriate use of absentee ballots."
