Michigan's farmers and growers are always looking for new and bigger markets for their products. The Michigan Farm Bureau thinks they should look at China, where there is growing interest in what Michigan's farms have to offer.
Next week, the Chinese e-commerce giant, Alibaba, is hosting a conference in Detroit where Michigan's agriculture community, among other economic sectors, will be able to learn more about building stronger ties between the state's farmers and China's consumers. Kevin Robson is a horticulture and industry relations specialist for the Michigan Farm Bureau. He joined Stateside to discuss the Chinese market's potential for Michigan's agriculture industry.
