Nominations are now being accepted for entry into the next class of MFB’s Institute for Leadership Education: ProFILE. As the organization’s elite leadership program, ProFILE is an in-depth growth opportunity and learning experience for agriculture’s most promising current and future leaders.
We need your help finding the best young farmers to participate in next year’s program!
The 15-month program is designed to enhance the leadership and interpersonal skills, and the Farm Bureau organizational knowledge, of a select group of members ages 25-35.
ProFILE participants will...
MFB will forward county Farm Bureaus the names of young farmers who have expressed their interest in the program through the MFB website.
County Farm Bureau boards brainstorm and nominate young farmers for the program, after talking with prospects to gauge their interest. There is no limit to the number of nominations per county; they’re due back to MFB by June 30.
MFB will review the nominations and send full program applications to nominees by July 12. Completed applications must be returned by Aug. 30.
MFB will select the top candidates based on those applications and announce the 2022-23 ProFILE class by Oct. 1.
The new class will start its 15-month program in January 2022. Participants will pay $100 per year ($200 total) which will be refunded back to the participant upon successful completion of the program.
Farm Bureau members age 25-35 interested in learning more should contact their county Farm Bureau or complete our interest form.
