The Michigan Farm Bureau (MFB) board has approved proposed amendments to the organization's bylaws.
The next step is for voting delegates at MFB's 2016 Annual Meeting to consider the recommendations.
County Farm Bureaus should review the proposals in advance of the meeting.
County Farm Bureaus across the state will hold annual meetings beginning in August.
Members will vote on policy resolutions about matters that impact farming and recognize individuals' achievements and volunteerism.
