Just in time for March is Reading Month, Farm Bureau’s agricultural book of the year is among several new outreach resources now available in MFB’s Promotion & Education online store.
Full of Beans, Henry Ford Grows a Car by Peggy Thomas is AFBF’s Book of the Year. Copies are available for $10 each; educator’s guides are $5. Books and lessons are appropriate for grades 3-5.
Soybean Ag Mag is also available and is a great take-home piece. It is $5 for a package of 30.
Career promotion decals are sold in packages of 50 for $14. Packages contain all one type of stickers; they are not variety packs. We will monitor how they are being purchased and adjust accordingly.
Michigan Agriculture in the Classroom promotional card are available free of charge. Available in packages of 30 these cards are great for Project RED teacher bags, March is Reading Month leave behinds, etc.
COMING SOON: Be Agriculture Career handouts — 4”x4” booklets sold in bundles of 30. These will replace previous student-focused career booklet and will serve as great handouts for distribution at career fairs, presentations or work with FFA/4-H members. Price TBA.
