fourth annual Project RED (Rural Education Day) took place May 14 at the

highlight and support the new Ag Tech program, now in its first year at the
All the fifth-grade classes from
both Farwell and Clare school districts were in attendance. More than 300
students cycled through 13 topical stations, including horse training,
forestry, beef production, sheep, biosecurity, maple syrup and more.
Ag Tech students joined the many
Clare County Farm Bureau member-volunteers helping students at each station,
giving them some hands-on teaching experience to complement their curricula.
