Looking for a quick — but quality — March is Reading Month activity? Reach out to the Collegiate Farm Bureau chapter near you and partner to use one of their six themed Ag in the Classroom kits!
Funded through a White-Reinhardt mini-grant, Collegiate Farm Bureau chapters can check out kits to utilize in a variety of ways: classroom readings, Projects RED, Ag in the Classroom sessions, or a follow-up lesson after the FARM Mobile Science Lab attends schools in your county.
Each kit includes a visual tabletop poster highlighting the commodity, one K-2nd grade-level book, one 3rd-5th grade book, and a laminated copy of corresponding, grade-appropriate lesson plans in a binder.
The commodity posters are replicas of posters used in our Food, Agriculture & Resources in Motion (FARM) Mobile Science Lab and Project RED (Rural Education Day).
