Promising more than 35 purchasers and 350 suppliers, the Pure Michigan Agribusiness Summit has been scheduled for March 9 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi.
“This is a premiere event for our grower members,” said Kevin Robson, horticulture specialist with Michigan Farm Bureau. “To be linked up with large-scale opportunities for selling their products to folks like Meijer, Gordon Food Service, U of M Health systems, and others is an opportunity that shouldn’t be missed.”
For the fourth consecutive year, Pure Michigan Business Connect (PMBC), an initiative from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) is partnering with the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) to bring buyers and suppliers together from across the state in a dynamic, one-day matchmaking event.
“Since its inception, the Pure Michigan Agribusiness Summit has opened up countless doors for our members, and Michigan Farm Bureau looks forward to supporting MDARD’s efforts again this year,” Robson said.
