Farm Bureau members statewide are invited to register and attend our virtual annual meeting kickoff as MFB’s 101st Annual Meeting shifts from downtown Grand Rapids to the comfort of your own home in the Michigan countryside.
Our live kickoff program will begin at 7 p.m. (EST) Nov. 4 with Michigan Farm Bureau President Carl Bednarski’s annual address, calling the 2020 Annual Meeting to order.
Following President Bednarski’s address will be a business session for county Farm Bureau delegations, including rules and credential committee reports, CEO reports from Scott Piggott and Don Simon, approval of last year’s minutes and a treasurer’s report from David Baker.
Members interested in serving as county Farm Bureau delegates should contact their county Farm Bureau by Oct. 23. Note that some counties may have already filled their allotted delegate seats.
County Farm Bureau delegates will play a key role throughout the monthlong hybrid-virtual meeting, including participation in district-level policy meetings Nov. 9-19.
All voting delegates must register with their county Farm Bureau. Those just joining in for the kickoff meeting can register themselves. (Each member of a household interesting in joining should register.)
MFB’s 2020 Annual Meeting is sponsored in part by Farm Bureau Insurance, GreenStone Farm Credit Services, Consumers Energy, DTE and Crystal Flash. Other sponsors include Farm Bureau Family Credit Union, AgroLiquid, Kubota Tractor Corp., Michigan CAT, Burnips Equipment Co., GreenMark Equipment, AIS Construction Equipment and Farm Bureau Health Services.
