Know any high school students passionate about agriculture? Could they use more skills in public speaking, collaboration and problem-solving? If so, make sure they know about the upcoming slate of Youth Discussion Meets, sponsored by Michigan Farm Bureau.
Discussion meets challenge participants to engage with agriculture’s most pressing current issues, discuss challenges’ causes and effects, and suggest solutions for moving forward. Participants are scored on their understanding of the topic, problem-solving ability, and collaborative skills.
Discussion topics for this year’s regional discussion meets are:

Registration is open and can be completed by clicking here. Each 4-H club, FFA chapter and county Farm Bureau can register up to three youth. Registration closes one week prior to each contest.
