Washtenaw County Farm Bureau associate member Jack Westbrooks of Chelsea won a Lil’ Ford F-150 Power Wheels battery-operated vehicle as part of the recent Ford Sweepstakes contest, Nov. 1, 2019 through Sept. 30, 2020.
Westbrooks owns a rural broadband company in Washtenaw County, where many of his regular customers are also Farm Bureau members, including the Horning Family dairy farm.
“When I called Jack to let him know he’d won, I think he thought I was calling to discuss insurance,” said Rick Eder, Westbrooks’ Farm Bureau Insurance agent. “But once I explained the reason for my call, he was excited and said he has a grandson who would love the truck.”
For a chance to win a two-year lease toward a new Ford vehicle, qualified Farm Bureau members could enter Ford Motor Company’s Sweepstakes contest via text message or by completing an online survey. The lease winner will be announced Nov. 19; visit MFB's Facebook page for updates.
Entrants were also entered into a drawing to win the Lil’ Ford F-150. State and county Farm Bureau employees, agents, directors, officers and their immediate families were not eligible to participate.
Ford is revamping the contest for 2021 and will announce revised details in the coming months. Click here for more information on Farm Bureau’s partnership with Ford.
