Michigan Farm Bureau (MFB) joins the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) in asking members to contact members of Congress, asking the lawmakers to support farmers through a second round of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act, also known as the CARES-2 Act.
Farmers and agricultural supporters are encouraged to send messages through AFBF’s website.
AFBF’s action request explains, “This bill has the potential to provide a lifeline to farm families in their time of need. The drop in commodity prices and other serious disruptions to the food chain are impacting life on the farm and ranch.”
