As in recent years, MFB’s state-level Policy Development committee this year will meet earlier has typically been the norm. 

This year’s state PD meetings are scheduled for Sept. 21 and Oct. 5-7 — when they’ll sort through hundreds of county-level policy recommendations and boil them down into the slate delegates will consider at MFB’s 2021 Annual Meeting, Nov. 30 through Dec. 2 in Grand Rapids. 

Moving these meetings two weeks earlier on the calendar helps pull them out of peak harvest time. County Farm Bureaus’ policy teams are encouraged to rescheduling their own deliberations accordingly.
