The Michigan Farm Bureau (MFB) Policy Development Committee is a committee appointed by the MFB Board of Directors. The committee is charged with reviewing hundreds of policy recommendations from 65 county Farm Bureaus, and compiling a report for consideration by the voting delegates to the MFB Annual Meeting each year.
The committee consists of 20 members: one member from each of Farm Bureau's 12 districts; three members serving at-large; three members representing the State Young Farmer Committee; and three members representing the MFB Board of Directors. The chair is the current vice president of the MFB Board of Directors. Members of the committee serve a one-year term, with eligibility for a one-year reappointment.
