The future of Michigan agriculture is in the hands of Michigan’s youth. Michigan Farm Bureau is a longtime friend and advocate of the Michigan FFA Association and Michigan 4-H Foundation, offering a variety of financial, in-kind and volunteer support annually to further these organizations’ missions. Farm Bureau also offers programing, contests, awards and scholarships to students interested in agriculture.
Youth Discussion Meets give students interested in agriculture an opportunity to flex their public speaking, problem-solving and conversational muscles while discussing some of the most pressing issues facing agriculture. It's not a debate, rather emulates a productive committee meeting. And we can't forget the prestige and prizes that come with winning!
