Farm Bureau members recognized a need and opportunity to engage in the political arena to enhance agriculture's voice and in 1977 voted to create a political action committee known as AgriPac.
MFB operates two political action committees to enable us to accept individual and corporate contributions:
"As a former teacher whose district includes the city of Flint, I might not be the first person people think of when it comes to agriculture. But I recognize the opportunity for both urban and rural areas, Democrats and Republicans, to come together to make the most of the economic potential agriculture offers. AgriPac is a great resource to educate candidates about these issues and is a valuable ally. I look forward to working with their members to help agriculture and Michigan grow even stronger for years to come."
