Order to stop 4,000-head pig farm construction denied

An opposition group, Reviving our American Democracy (ROAD), has been denied its attempt to stop the construction of a nearly 4,000-head pig farm in West Michigan while it has a pending petition with the state. The confined animal feed operation (CAFO), family-owned by Flower Creek Swine in Claybanks Township, would be located within 300 acres of property near the Flower Creek watershed that flows into nearby Lake Michigan.
