Joe Ankley of Lapeer County finished runner-up in the American Farm Bureau Federation Excellence in Agriculture competition held in Austin, Texas, this month. He will receive a Case IH Farmall 50A tractor, courtesy of Case IH. Ankley, an agriscience educator and FFA advisor in Port Austin, spoke to Michigan Farm News about his experiences during this year’s show.
