I’m excited to join the Michigan Farm Bureau family!
I’m a native Michigander, but spent the last 15 years in the Hoosier state working in the nonprofit sector. My experience ranges from event planning to communications to fundraising and program management.
In my role with MFB I’ll get to use all those skills and more as I serve in a dual position, managing the Agent Charitable Fund for Farm Bureau Insurance and serving as the new executive director of the Michigan Ag Council.
In addition to my professional experience, I’ve been an active member of Junior Chamber International for the past 14 years, an organization better known as the Jaycees. Through my time as a Jaycee, I served the Indianapolis community, the state and ultimately the national organization in several leadership roles.
Last year I was elected as the 98th National President of JCI USA, and traveled more than 50,000 miles motivating and engaging 12,000 Jaycees nationwide.
When I’m not working or being an active citizen in my community, I enjoy hanging out with my husband and our rescue dog, Hank the Tank.
I look forward to working with our members to promote and build awareness for agriculture as we strive to end hunger in Michigan.
It’s great to be home.
