One down, two to go! The pair of remaining Young Farmer events are waiting for your participation, engaging multi-district groups of young agricultural leaders in various areas of Farm Bureau. They're designed to promote Young Farmers’ leadership development and personal growth, network with other members and inspire member involvement.
Is that sweat on your brow? Only 2% of us are feeding the rest. This calls for a break!
Sit back and relax with other farmers that are just as busy and tired-out as you. Spend some much-needed time with the family off the machinery and at the lake! Come out for the day(s) or stay for the night(s). It’s a great place to share some meals, fun, and relaxed campfire discussions. Let’s fix what’s broken, share what’s working, relax what’s worn, and build each other up to head back to the fields as a Farm Bureau team.
Campsites are first come, first serve so register today!
Interested in the latest information about water regulations and legislative efforts? Want to network and socialize with other young farmers in the area? Love being on the water?
The second annual Young Farmer Float for Water Rights starts with breakfast and an informational presentation about water regulations and legislation followed by a canoe, kayak and tube float down the scenic Thornapple River. Meals will be provided and bring your own beverages.
These events are supported in part by the MFB State Young Farmer program. Be sure to check out other county, district or regional Young Farmer events in your area.
