Distinguished Service to Agriculture Award

Purpose

The Distinguished Service to Agriculture Award represents Michigan Farm Bureau’s highest and most prestigious honor. Since 1956, this award has recognized extraordinary individuals whose unwavering dedication, leadership, and lifelong contributions have left a lasting impact on Michigan’s agricultural industry.

Recipients of this distinguished award exemplify the very best of agriculture — those whose service, vision, and commitment have strengthened not only their communities, but the future of the industry as a whole.

We encourage counties to reflect on the leaders and advocates who have made a meaningful difference and consider submitting a nomination for this esteemed recognition. Counties are also encouraged to celebrate excellence locally by presenting a County Farm Bureau Distinguished Service to Agriculture Award at their annual meeting, while putting forward nominees for statewide consideration.

Help us honor those who have gone above and beyond — nominate an individual whose legacy deserves to be recognized at the highest level.
