St. Joseph County Farm Bureau Promotion & Education Committee recently completed their annual Poster Contest. In the end of March SJCFB volunteers donated ag accurate books to all the 3rd grade classrooms in the county that wanted to participate in our annual Poster Contest. We had 12 schools participate.
The winning student received a copy of the book "Tales of the Dairy Godmother -Chucks Ice Cream Wish" and a pizza party for their class. Her poster will be used as the placemat for the 2025 St. Joseph County Farm Bureau County Annual. Mrs. Byler will receive a Farm Crate Subscription.
With the help of his Dairy Godmother, Chuck is taken—poof!—on a memorable and delicious adventure to a dairy farm. He finds out exactly where ice cream comes from and gains an even deeper love and appreciation for his favorite food.
This year's winner is Lowen Jergens from Mrs. Byler's class at Eastwood Elementary in Sturgis.
