Agriculture Education for 4th grade students coming to Hillsdale Co. Fairgrounds

Date Posted: February 18, 2025

Members of Hillsdale County Farm Bureau and partnering agriculture organizations are eagerly planning the 12th annual Project RED – Rural Education Day for Hillsdale County 4th grade students to learn about agriculture!

In 2024, nearly 400 students, teachers and parents explored agriculture at the Hillsdale County Fairgrounds with presentations on beef, dairy, drones, Michigan Diversity, equipment technology and the growth cycle-seed to harvest.

Planning is underway for the 2025 event, and YOU can get involved! Contact the office at (517) 437-2458 or click here to complete our sign up to volunteer.

We also have opportunities to support the Project RED event in April and the upcoming scholarship program. Click below to learn more or contact our office at 517-437-2458 or by email at [email protected]
