As preparations begin for the upcoming Annual Auction, held immediately following the County Annual Meeting, organizers are asking community members and local businesses to consider donating items to support this year’s cause.
The auction serves as both a celebration and a fundraiser, with 100% of proceeds benefiting a local charity. Each year, donated items — ranging from gift baskets and services to handcrafted goods and specialty products — help raise meaningful funds that stay right here in our community.
Organizers say the success of the event depends entirely on the generosity of donors.
“We are grateful for the continued support from individuals and businesses who help make this auction possible,” said event coordinator Tom VanWagner. “Every donated item directly impacts the legacy of agriculture and its future in Lenawee.”
Items are currently being accepted, and additional auction offerings will be announced as they are received.
Those interested in donating an item can contact Terry Shoemaker at 517-265-2891 or [email protected] to arrange pick-up. Donors can also register online at https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/auction-donations
