Manistee-based Farm Bureau Insurance agent Matt Knizacky recently donated $2,500 to Mason County Reformed Church’s Hand 2 Hand program, which provides weekly packages of food and supplies to students at Mason County Central Schools.

Matt Knizacky and Farm Bureau Insurance Managing Partner Jim Camp presented the funds to Mary DeWys of Hand 2 Hand during the Mason County Farm Bureau’s 2022 Annual Meeting.

The donation came through Farm Bureau Insurance’s Agent Charitable Fund, a donor-advised fund housed within the Michigan Foundation for Agriculture that allows agents, clients and partners to contribute to charitable causes statewide.

Following the purpose and vision of the Michigan Foundation for Agriculture, the fund is designed to provide food, build agricultural awareness and help Michigan residents in need.

Additional donations may be sent to Hand 2 Hand, Mason County Reformed Church, 45 S. Amber Rd., Scottville, MI 49454. Call 231-757-2088 for more information.
