Farm Bureau Life Insurance Named to Ward 50® List

Farm Bureau Life Insurance of Michigan has been recognized as one of the top performing life insurance companies in the United States.

The Ward Group is the leading provider of benchmarking and best practices studies for the insurance industry in the United States. Their Top 50 rankings are compiled through an analysis of the financial performance and net written premiums of nearly 700 life-health insurance companies across the country.

This is the 31st time in the 36-year history of the award that Farm Bureau Insurance’s Life Company has been part of this prestigious list. Earlier this year, for the eighth time, Ward Group recognized Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan with a “superior rating” for Personal Lines Claims customer experience by Ward Group. Farm Bureau earned the award for calendar year 2025, a recognition also received for 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, and 2018.

Since 1991, Ward has analyzed the financial performance of nearly 700 life/health insurance companies domiciled in the United States and identifies the top performers. Each Ward 50 company achieved superior performance over the five years analyzed (2021-2025). This year’s awards were announced at a public ceremony on July 9.
