Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan
Farm Bureau recently implemented FB Drives Michigan!, the company’s new usage based insurance program, which offers a new opportunity for insurance discounts.
Discounts
Discounts will be based on:
- Total miles driven
- Braking (minimal abrupt stops)
- Safe speeds (under 80 mph)
- Time of day (limited late-night trips)
- Distracted driving
In addition, insureds could qualify for a low mileage rate. For example, at next renewal, those drivers who have opted into the FB Drives Michigan! program will receive an additional 10% discount based on miles driven.
Who’s eligible?
Customers with new insurance policies effective May 9, 2021, and existing customers with renewals effective June 28, 2021 are eligible.
- Six-Month Term Policy: Customers will receive a 12% discount at enrollment.
- Annual Term Policy: Customers will receive a 15% discount at enrollment.
