FFA Convention Experience can spark your local program

Sending a local school official or other FFA supporter on the Michigan FFA Alumni & Friends National FFA Convention Experience Trip in Indianapolis can help jumpstart interest in your local agriscience program.
Date Posted: August 31, 2022

Want to inject a little enthusiasm into your local FFA program? Consider sending a school official or other local FFA supporter on the Michigan FFA Alumni & Friends National FFA Convention Experience Trip in Indianapolis, Oct. 26-27.

The experience provides opportunities to learn about agriscience education and programs, attend National FFA Convention sessions and meet with local FFA members, as well as network and share ideas with other Michigan school administrators and agriscience education supporters.

Space is limited to five attendees total statewide. The $500 registration fee includes convention registration, opening general session tickets, transportation to Indianapolis, one night’s hotel stay and several meals. The convention takes place at the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indianapolis.

To register, complete the application here; it will need to be completed and turned in, with payment, by Sept. 15.

Individual county Farm Bureaus have sponsored participants from their counties in the past and this has been a huge help for FFA programs — not to mention great promotion for county Farm Bureaus. County Farm Bureaus are again encouraged to consider sponsoring school officials to attend this event.
